Set the Bible book language
By default, VideoPsalm displays the Bible book names in the same language as its menus.
So if you set the VideoPsalm language to English, the Bible book names will be displayed in English.
To display Bible book names in its own language:
Step 1. Click on the Bible button
This will display the Bible properties in the middle panel.
Step 2. Deselect the option “Display the book names in English”:
Your changes are reflected immediately and you get the Bible books in Spanish:
Step 3. Save your changes
When you leave VideoPsalm, it will remind you to save your changes:
By default, VideoPsalm only reminds you to save changes that you made to your songbooks.
It will not remind you of unsaved changes to Bibles, unless you specifically set this in the settings:
You can also save your changes to songbooks and Bibles anytime, via the save button:
In case the Bible does not contain book names in the proper language
Edit each book name in the book property panel.
Step 1. Click the book to rename
For example “Lamentacion”, which should be “Lamentaciones” in Spanish:
Step 2. Adjust the spelling
The book properties are displayed in the middle panel:
This works similarly with a wide range of VideoPsalm’s items:
- Click on an item.
- This displays the item properties in the middle panel, where you can edit them.
