Windows SmartScreen warning when installing VideoPsalm

Does Windows or your internet browser display a warning when you download or install VideoPsalm?
This warning appears because the VideoPsalm setup file is not digitally signed and has not yet enough “reputation”.
It can only win reputation if it is downloaded and installed a number of times.
Normally this will happen automatically in the next days.

In case your internet browser blocks you from downloading VideoPsalm

You will get a warning like in the below screenshot:

To bypass the warning, click the “. . .” button and select “Keep”, as shown below:

If you may get the following warning:

Press the “Show more” menu:

And select “Keep anyway”:

Windows SmartScreen may show the following popup:

Again, press the “More info” link and select “Run anyway”.

Finally, the Windows User Account Control may show the following popup:

Press “Yes”.

To disable SmartScreen permanently

Open Windows Security: Go to Start → Settings → Privacy & Security → Windows Security → Open Windows Security

Click on “App & Browser Control”.

Click “Reputation-based protection settings”.

Disable SmartScreen: Toggle the switches off for:

– “Check apps and files”

– “SmartScreen for Microsoft Edge”
